M&S (Netherlands)

M&S is a Dutch fashion retailer operating 423 stores in the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, France and Belgium founded by Max Abram. Originally only selling ladies' coats the company now offers a wide range of clothing for women in the 35-55 age group.

This M&S should not be confused with British department store Marks & Spencer which uses M&S as an abbreviation of its name in advertising and signage.

M&S is a subsidiary of Maxeda (formerly Vendex KBB), which also owns the, Vroom & Dreesmann, and Bijenkorf department stores.
